State Fair Outreach

The outreach at the state fair this year went great. We manned the booth 10 hours a day for ten days and usually had a full volunteer crew. We had over 120 volunteers and most of them were from Heart of Kansas churches. We gave away 4800 horseshoes and shared the Gospel with over 4500 people. Over 100 of them filled out a decision card after praying to receive Christ. At times we had over 100 people waiting for a horse shoe or to hear the Gospel. Every volunteer had a great time and were excited to be a part of that ministry. Please put on your schedule the dates for next year’s state fair outreach which will be September 9^th -18^th 2011. If you helped us this year, you know that training took place on the spot and all worked well most of the time. I have had other requests to do this ministry at other events. This just shows that God can and will use anything, even a horse shoe, to get the Good News out to the lost.
