Heart of Kansas men, we have two real opportunities for the fall ministry this year. First of all is the Bigger Breakfast Sept. 25. Complete information can be found at www.bmen.net/biggerbreakfast.org. The information includes “Southern Baptist men in the United States and Canada will be joining Baptist Men in Europe and Africa on September 25, 2010 for a “somewhat” simultaneous men’s breakfast.” It would be great if several of our Heart of Kansas Churches would register and support this effort to pray for spiritual renewal.
We still have our 40 day prayer plan available and this Bigger Breakfast would be an excellent way to start the last quarter of 2010.
On October 15 and 16 our fifth annual Men’s retreat will be held at Webster Conference In Salina. The keynote speaker for the retreat will be Bob Mills our KNCSB executive director. This year’s theme will be “Band of Brothers.” These meetings have been a source of encouragement. Plan to be a part of the retreat.
HOKSBA stands for the Heart of Kansas Southern Baptist Association. This is the Southern Baptist association serving Sedgwick County Kansas, and the surrounding area.
