Here in the Heart of Kansas, through the Danny Dirks Mission Strategy Funds we’ve been blessed to purchase a shower trailer, and a chainsaw trailer. This trailer will be used both locally and nationally as the need arises.
The Heart of Kansas vision is expanding to include more units and volunteers to fulfill the disaster relief mission.
Disaster relief is Christian love in action – meeting urgent needs in crisis situations by trained volunteers.

Where do I fit in?
All ministry gifts, talents and skills are needed.
What if I am not trained?
Training will be provided in the appropriate area of service at various times and locations.
Once trained, then what?
You will be placed on a calling list according to your gifts, talents, skills and training.
Will I always have to go?
Your availability will be taken into consideration prior to being asked to mobilize.
How long would I be gone?
Although each trip may differ, we like to ask that you be available 5-7 days.
