Sunday School is the way people connect in church. New people become acquainted with those in the church and feel a part of what is happening. Prayer is a vital ministry in each class. Those who don't know Christ need our prayers for salvation. Satan is always looking for a way to steal the Christian's joy and witness. Summer is a time to be sure we know why someone is absent. There could be a ministry need we miss because we assumed someone was on vacation. Look for new people moving into your neighborhood. Summer is a prime time for people to move with school out. Welcome new people to the neighborhood and to come to church with you.

Flight School 2005

Your Sunday School Team has been planning fall training. There will be a two-night conference just for pastors this year. Be sure you have the dates marked on your church calendar. Flight School will be held September 19 & 20 at Metropolitan Baptist Church.

Vacation Bible School

We have a number of churches that have received help from mission groups from Arkansas. They have helped with prayer walking, teaching VBS, and follow-up. Cedar Pointe, Pleasantview, and South City have helped sister churches. With the good follow-up immediately after VBS, we should see people added to our churches. The Lord has blessed us with workers to help us in our harvest field. Pray for those who will be having VBS the next six weeks.
