Our Flight School this year will be only one night with a new schedule. Mark your calendar for September 18 and plan to be a part of this special event. Keith Wilkinson will be the keynote speaker. Keith has been with the General Convention of Oklahoma as well as serving a number of years in Nashville in the Adult area. There will be breakout sessions for Pastors, Sunday School class members, General Officers, Adult leaders, Youth leaders, Children's leaders and Preschool leaders.
This will be a great time to focus on Sunday School as the Evangelism area of our churches. Studies show that people need to make seven connections to remain active in the church. Sunday School is a strong way to connect people to the church.

Vacation Bible School Follow-Up

We are having good attendance in VBS this year. Follow-up is vital to being able to reach new families. We need to be in the homes the very next week while the experience is fresh. More prospects are discovered through VBS than any outreach done during the year. We need to recognize the privilege and responsibility God has given us to reach out and include these new people in our fellowship.

It's been exciting to see the enthusiasm of the teachers and children as I have visited different churches during VBS week. Seeing decorations being shared with those having VBS a later week is fun and such a blessing for those churches. Continue to pray for the churches that will be having VBS through the rest of the summer.
