College Summer Missionaries for 2008
Ten Missionaries are Needed
Who: Those in, going to, or just graduated from college
Where: Wichita, KS
When: May 15 through July 31 (some flexibility)
Pay: $750 from NAMB and $250 from KNCSB
How: contact Mark Jackson, 943-3446 or mark@hoksba.org to start the process
Activities:
- Start/support a collegiate ministry
- Support/Start church plants
- Conduct Bible studies, chapels, and chaplain work in the county jail
- Serve as sponsors at the pre-teen camp in Webster
- Support several churches as VBS workers
- Help in the Baptist Good Neighbor centers
- Participate in street and door-to-door evangelism
- Help with block parties
- Receive hands on and classroom training from denominational workers (Midwestern Seminary, KNCSB, HOKSBA, and NAMB)
- Have fun!
Work Hours: about forty hours a week during the day and evening
Objective: to provide opportunities for students to discover their calling in ministry, to train students in ministry skills, and to help meet the mission objectives of the Heart of Kansas Southern Baptist Association by sharing Christ, starting churches, and developing volunteers, missionaries, and ministers.
High School Summer Missionaries for 2008
Twenty Missionaries are Needed
Who: Those entering the tenth through twelfth grade
Where: Wichita, KS
When: a four week period (longer periods are available) between June 2 and August 1
Pay: to be determined

Activities:
- Support several churches as VBS workers
- Help in the Baptist Good Neighbor centers
- Participate in street and door-to-door evangelism
- Help with block parties

Pay: $350 per month
