Midwestern Seminary Offers Local Extension Courses in Wichita

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary (MBTS) announces classes are currently forming for Spring 2005 courses being offered at the Heart of Kansas Southern Baptist Association Office, 3474 South Meridian, Wichita, KS.

Courses currently enrolling are as follows:

  • Topic: Survey of the Old Testament II (BS 2211) - An expositional survey of 2 Kings through Nehemiah, wisdom literature and the prophets. Dates: Jan 23-Mar 13. Time: Mondays 5:30-9:30 p.m. Credit: 3 hours. Taught by Dr. Jim Anderson, associate professor of Biblical Studies at MBTS and dean of the Midwestern Baptist College, SBC.
  • Topic: Survey of the Old Testament I (BS 2210) - An expositional survey of the Pentateuch through 1 Kings plus Psalms. Dates: Mar 27-May 15. Time: Mondays 5:30-9:30 p.m. Credit: 3 hours. Taught by Dr. Radu Gheorghita, Appointed Scholar in Residence with Teaching Portfolio at MBTS, SBC.
  • Internet: New Testament Survey I (BS2310)-3 hours, Dr. Wilder, dates and times as arranged
  • Internet: Basic Evangelism (MN5201)-3 hours, Dr. Johnston, dates and times as arranged
