Midwestern College to Offer Free "Gospels" Class in January
News: HOKSBA
Sunday, January 1, 2006
Midwestern Baptist College, SBC, the undergraduate school of Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, is offering a free five-week accelerated college course on "The Gospels."
"The Gospels" class will be held on Thursday evenings from 6:30-9:30 p.m., starting Jan. 5 and ending Feb. 2, 2006. It concentrates on the life and ministry of Jesus Christ as recorded in the four Gospels and is part of Midwestern's new fully-accredited accelerated Bachelor of Arts degree in Biblical Studies.
"I hope many people in the Christian community will take advantage of this opportunity to strengthen their faith while continuing their education," said Midwestern President Dr. R. Philip Roberts. "Students will receive five nights of solid, biblical training while earning college credit as they focus intensively on our blessed Lord and Savior Jesus Christ."
All tuition and fees are waived for this special offer to new students enrolling for the first time. The only expense will be the purchase of class materials if the student chooses to do so. Although three credit hours of undergraduate credit can be earned at no cost, students can also choose to audit the course.
To learn more or register for the free class, prospective students can log on to the Midwestern Web site at: www.mbts.edu/freeclassoffer, or contact the college at 800-944-6287.
