DOM Search Committee

It has been my pleasure to serve as the chairman of the search committee for a new Director of Missions for our association. The following men served on that committee.

  • John Brooks - layman, River Community Church
  • Ray Emery - pastor, Midway Baptist Church
  • Ray Kempel - pastor, First Baptist Church, Hutchinson
  • Kent Smith - layman, First Baptist Church, Mulvane
  • Andy Antonson - deceased
  • Michael Scott - pastor, Calvary Baptist Church, Valley Center

After much prayer and hard work and looking at more than 100 resumes we would like to introduce you to our chosen candidate, Glenn Davis.

We would like to give you an opportunity to meet and get to know Glenn and his wife Rhonda at a reception at Metropolitan Baptist Church March 25 at 7 p.m. We will ask Glenn to share a brief testimony and then give you the opportunity to ask questions of him.

The committee will then make a recommendation at a special called executive board meeting on April 1 that our association hires Glenn as our new Director of Missions contingent upon approval of the North American Mission Board.
