DOM Candidate: Meet Glenn and Rhonda Davis

R. Glenn Davis married Rhonda in 1977 and they had two sons Matt and Nathan. Matt is now married to LeeAnn and they have two daughters. He is a Captain in the USAF. Nathan is working at Southwest Baptist University where he attended.

Pastor Glenn was pastor at First Baptist Church in Orrick MO 1979 - 1983. He came to First Southern BC Salina in 1983.

He has served Kansas Nebraska Convention of Southern Baptist as President, President of the Pastors Conference, Executive Committee and Executive Board member, Youth Evangelism Staff and various other committees.

He has served Smoky Hill Baptist Association as Moderator, Executive Committee and Executive Board Member and Chairman of Search Committee for DOAM.

Pastor Davis has been involved in two mission trips to China, a mission trip to India, Pakistan, Taiwan and Africa. He has also been involved in construction trips to several states including Missouri, Oklahoma and Kansas.

He has a Masters in Biblical studies from Trinity Seminary in Newburgh IN. and a Bachelors Degree in Religion from Oklahoma Baptist University.

His interests are biking, bird hunting and fishing.

He is currently involved in the Executive Board and has served in the past on the Program Committee for the YMCA of Salina. He has also served on the Policy Review Committee for USD 305 and various other committees. He and Rhonda received the 1995 Friends of Education Award for USD 305 and were nominated for the state of Kansas award.
