Need Equipment for a Church Mission Team?
The Heart of Kansas Association has available three chain saws with chaps and helmets for loan to church mission teams upon request from the association office. There is also available a DVD on chain saw safety and operation that each mission team is encouraged to view prior to using the chain saw equipment.
The equipment may be reserved on a first come basis. The borrowing organization would assume responsibility for the safe operation of the equipment and returning the equipment in a clean serviceable condition following the mission event. The borrowing church representative will be asked to sign a release of liability to the Heart of Kansas Southern Baptist Association for use of the equipment.
The mission equipment is being provided to assist and encourage our churches to become engaged in hands-on mission activities in sharing God's love and compassion.
HOKSBA also provides opportunities for individuals to participate in mission activities through the Southern Baptist Disaster Relief ministry. The primary purpose of Disaster Relief is to share the love of Jesus Christ through feeding and recovery services resulting from natural disasters. Individuals interested in this ministry may contact the association office or the Disaster Relief Committee at 788-3466 or 788-1237.
