6th Annual HOKSBA Fellowship Golf Tournament

The 6th Annual HOKSBA Fellowship Golf Tournament will be held at Hesston Golf Park on Saturday, April 29th with an 8:30 AM shotgun start. Register by April 10th and receive the "Early Birdie" discounted entry fee of only $50.00. After April 10th the cost goes up to $55.00. The entry fee includes golf, half a cart, and lunch, which will be served at the golf course immediately following the tournament.

We have some new and exciting ideas that will be incorporated in this year's tournament, but want to keep them a surprise for now (but they are all about golf - no kicking, throwing, or anything like that). We are doing this to make our tournament different, exciting and fun, rather than the typical scramble that just has longest drive and closest to the pin, etc. The idea behind this tournament is to get to meet and play golf with other people in our association and maybe even find out a little about what other churches are doing. The tournament committee will draw for pairings, trying very hard to make the teams as equal as possible based on declared average scores. This is a fellowship tournament, so we ask that you not ask to play with people you already know (we do make exceptions for family members that don't get to play together often and for church prospects). If your church has someone that has been visiting for a short period of time, we will be more than happy to pair him/her up with someone from your church - just have them identify themselves as a visitor on the entry form.

This tournament has been very successful over the past five years primarily because of the fellowship we encounter. Most comment cards received have talked about how people enjoyed getting to know other people in the association. We have had wonderful comments about the food and prizes that are provided as well. If you are a scratch player, or the person that still has metal spikes in your shoes (they aren't allowed), or somewhere in between, then this tournament is for you! A fun time is guaranteed!
