Homeless People Are People, Too!

We served 65 people at the Drop-In Center in October.

We would like to say thank you to one of our ministry team members. Vivian Ratliff has had to leave our ministry due to health reasons. We will miss her very much, and will continue to pray for her recovery.

We would like to extend thanks to Parkview Baptist Church for their donation of six folding tables for our new day center. Pleasantview has donated eighty-five folding chairs and the ladies of Trinity Baptist Church donated two sleeping bags. Thank you so much!

Christmas is just around the corner and we are again in need of volunteers and donations of turkeys and hams. We will be doing the dinner a little differently and therefore will be utilizing our volunteers to a greater extent than in years past. If your family, Sunday School class or ministry group would like to help, please contact Deborah Long at 316-204-9517.

We are working hard to get our day center open but we are still looking for individuals who would be willing to act as teachers and or mentors. Again, if you can help in any way, please contact Deborah.
