Riverfest

RVERFEST IS NEXT MONTH!!!! May 6-14, 2005 will be an exciting time for our association as churches come together to evangelize the hundreds of people who come to enjoy the time of fun and events of the Riverfest.

This is a wonderful missionary moment! There will be prayer walks, street evangelism and activities to attract crowds so we can hand out tracts or use Evangecubes or just let lost people know God loves them by being friendly and helpful.

The Team Impact will be demonstrating their abilities on Saturday, May 14 in the Metropolitan Baptist Church parking lot from 6:00pm to 7:30pm.

Churches in the association are invited to participate. If you want more information, call Mark Jackson at the Heart of Kansas office.

There will be churches to follow up in any professions of faith that may be made. Your church can be a part of discipling any of the converts!

Memorial Day

We will be remembering those who fought and died for our country to remain free. We owe so much to those who have paid the ultimate price for our freedom.

I thank God for His grace being shed on our nation. We cannot come close to realizing how much godly men sacrificed to establish a nation based on biblical principles nor can we comprehend the suffering of those who have fought, bled and died so we can pursue God's will for our life. Please let our God and our military know how thankful you are for their generosity.
