My Purpose & Personal Calling Statement
From the D.O.M.: Pat Bullock
Monday, November 1, 2004
It is a joy to be part of what God is doing in the Heart of Kansas Southern Baptist Association. We as an association want to do what the churches want us to do.
In order for you to know where I see God leading me as the Director of Associational Missions, I am presenting my purpose statement and my personal calling statement.
Purpose Statement
BECOME MORE CHRIST-LIKE AND DISPLAY GODLY LIVING THAT RESULTS IN OTHERS SEEKING CHRIST IN ALL HIS GLORY.
Personal Calling Statement
TO HELP PASTORS FULFILL THEIR CALLING AND SUPPORT THEM IN THEIR RESPONSIBILITY TO LEAD THEIR CHURCHES TO MAKE DISCIPLES SO THAT EVANGELISM, MINISTRY, CHURCH HEALTH AND CHURCH PLANTING ARE PRIORITIES. TO HELP CHURCHES PREPARE FOR A NEW PASTOR SO THAT BOTH UNDERSTAND EACH OTHER’S VALUES.
The staff and I are available to assist you in any way that you need. Please feel free to let us know how we may help you.
THE ANNUAL ASSOCIATIONAL MEETING is being held at Country Acres Baptist Church on Tyler Road November 1, 2004 at 6:15 p.m. There will be gospel music from 6:15 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. when the meeting starts. Every Southern Baptist is invited and encouraged to come. It would be great if we would see a large attendance that Monday night. We are not looking for a large attendance for a numbers' sake. Our desire is that all of our churches come together to see how God has joined us together to build His kingdom to bring glory to His Name. We can do so much more in the area of missions, church planting and public awareness together than we can do alone.
