The support staff of the association has grown a lot since I have had the privilege of becoming Director of Missions. The reason for this growth is so the association can offer more help for churches through training and resources.

Larry Thomas is leading in the area of leader development in the church through a year and a half process called Focused Living. Mark Jackson is stepping into the Chruch Planter Strategy role as well as bringing a passion for training members in evangelism. He has gone to a number of churches to train people in the use of the Evangecube. Loren Phippen has a passion for intentional soul winning and will join our staff as a Nehemiah Church Planter. His goal is to see churches started from converts led by men who have a desire to disciple young Christians. George Boujakly is working with Arabic speaking citizens. Brad Simmons is working with university students with the intent to see an international ministry started on the campus. Gail and Noel Willis enlist and mobilize our association for short-term mission projects. Vicki Timmons, our office administrator, helps coordinate all of our activities as well as keep up with all of the office needs. Theresa Hobson keeps the accounting records and works with the Budget Committee.

It is my privilege to provide a vision for our staff and help churches in transition, in conflict and in need of a pastor. A vital ministry has been the privilege of being a transitional pastor to some of our churches. The real joy is to work with pastors in a mentoring relationship along with working with churches in the Focused Living process. There are many other things I do which are too numerous to mention here.

We, as an association, have a passion and desire to serve all our churches. Our energies are going to be dedicated to ministering to existing churches as well as supporting church starts.
