June 1, 2005 will mark our eight-year completion date. It does not seem possible that Nancy and I have been in Kansas eight years. We have learned that the people in Kansas are the salt of the earth. We consider ourselves to be blessed of God and privileged to be a small part of what God is doing in Kansas. Thank you for your support and active participation in attempting to be a witness for our great Lord and Savior.

Lord willing, Nancy and I will be going to the Southern Baptist Convention in Nashville June 19 through the 23rd.

Please remember to prepare to enroll your children for Pre-Teen Camp August 1-4, 2005. This is an exciting event that many of our churches take advantage of. Pre-teen camp is for children who have completed 4th - 6th grade. More information will be available soon.

Another event that will generate a lot of interest is our annual Evangelism Rally the last Sunday of August. We are privileged to have Dr. Ergun Caner as our guest speaker. Dr. Caner was reared a Muslim whose father came to America to start and open mosques. Dr. Caner came to Christ in a way that shows God's mercy in a fresh way. He is one of the most outstanding speakers in America, and together with his brother Emir, has co-authored several books on the Muslim faith. Dr. Caner is currently Dean of the Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary in Lynchburg, Virginia. He regularly preaches at the Southern Baptist Convention and is a scholar of renown. This is one service you will not want to miss.

The rally will be held at Immanuel Baptist Church in Wichita at 6:00 pm August 28, 2005. There will be classes on how to witness to Muslims on Sunday afternoon for those who are interested. You will want to take advantage of this opportunity.
