God is merciful and kind again. He keeps on blessing even when He knows we don't deserve His goodness. That was emphasized to me again as I talked to one of the greatest Christian ladies in our association, Marjorie Moratto. I had the privilege of visiting with her briefly a few days before she died on February 8, 2006. She was very close to death and was so looking forward to seeing Jesus.

She had great peace and talked about going home to rest. I said to her that she had blessed a lot of people and God had used her in a great way. She could barely whisper that only God should get the credit because if there was any good done by her, God had to do it. Her husband Harry, weeping as he spoke, was praising God for their life and said this was the moment they had talked about together and that he was at peace because they had talked about everything that was needed and they did not need to say anything more about it. Harry was surprised that God had decided to take Marjorie first, but he knows that she died right because she lived right with her Lord.

God has been good in another way again. The Keith Martin family donated a 1994 Econoline custom van to the MACEDONIAN CALL FOUNDATION for IMB missionaries to use while they are assigned to state-side duties. It was in excellent shape and the missionaries coming home at the end of the month with seven children will be able to use it. Isn't God good?

If you ever want to donate a vehicle and receive a tax write-off, you can do it very easily. As the Vice President of the Macedonian Call Foundation, I can give you a Letter of Donation verifying your gift. You can find out how much your vehicle is worth by checking the internet, newspaper, or the Kelly Blue Book and keeping a copy of the price with your tax information. Please call the association if you are interested in donating a vehicle. We have had the joy of loaning these cars out to over 1000 missionaries.

I am excited about several events we have planned this year.

On April 20, 2006 we have Charles Arn coming to share how a church can be effective in reaching their visitors and assimilating new members into the church. The association is investing $500.00 in this event so there is no cost to any of our churches and you can bring as many of your leaders as you want. Workbooks will be available at the event for $5.00 if you choose to purchase one. It will be held on Thursday, April 20, 2006 at Grace Presbyterian Church, 5002 E. Douglas in Wichita from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Lunch will be provided.

The Riverfest evangelistic outreach will be held May 18-20. The annual association's Evangelism Rally with Voddie Baucham, Jr. He will hold the Ever-Loving Truth seminar, which will start on Friday night, August 25 and concluding on Saturday, August 26. The cost of the Seminar is $20.00 per person. Dr. Baucham will then be our featured speaker on Sunday night at 6:30 p.m. at Immanuel Baptist Church.
