River Festival

Praise God for the great turn out and participation at this year's River Fest. We had more individuals helping to share the Gospel this year from our churches. Praise God!! We had 10 evangelists from the ICE team at NAMB who shared the Gospel and trained some of our people. On Saturday we had the inflatables, music, free hotdogs and snacks from WMU, and Team Impact. Over the weekend Team Impact did six performances, two at Eldorado State Prison, two at the juvenile facilities, one at the River Fest and one at Believers Baptist Church. Two more detention facilities brought there kids to Believer's Sunday night to hear the message also. Between the Team Impact events and street witnessing 231 people made a profession of faith. The very next Monday our team of summer interns sent follow up letters and booklets to each new believer and a copy of their information to our churches so they will be able to follow up on them. A special thanks to every one who helped and participated in this event. I praise God for the opportunity he gives us each year to reach so many people. Also on Saturday and Sunday our new church planting team, Perry and Betty Wamego, were able to have a team at the Pow Wow at the Indian Center to share the Gospel and get contacts for a Native American work. Praise God!! Please start planning on next year's event.
