River Festival

Please mark your calendars and make your plans to be involved in this year's outreach at the River Festival. The dates we will be there are May 17 to 20.

Again this year we will have several ICE evangelists from around the country come in to work the streets of the River Fest with us. These men travel the country to share the gospel and are excited about coming to Wichita. Our prayer is to have many members from our churches to partner with the evangelists for training and experience. We will share from Thursday evening through Saturday evening. Team Impact will be here again this year to put on their special performance on Saturday May 19 in the parking lot at Metropolitan Baptist Church. They have been well received each time they come. We will hand out invitations and information about them as we evangelize the River Fest. We are also planning on Team Impact doing performances at Eldorado Correction Facility and possibly the Juvenile Detention Facility. Please pray that God will open the doors for that to happen. Please plan on spending most of the day Saturday, May 17 with us at Metropolitan. In addition to street witnessing and Team Impact, we will also have entertainment, inflatables for the kids, and WMU providing hot dogs and snacks. Saturday evening just before the fire works is a great time to hand out tracts and witness. I am looking forward to seeing all of you there doing God's work to share the Good News with this lost and dying world.
