Mardis Gras

This year our Lord truly blessed our trip to Mardis Gras. There were eight of us that went from five different churches in the Association. We drove through the night coming and going and our Lord provided travel mercies for us. We partnered with 35 men from other churches around the company to hand out over 65,000 tracts. We were able to pray with 25 people to receive Jesus as their personal Savior. Normally 500 to 800 people each year send in responses to the tracts that we give them. Please pray that God will touch their hearts. Next year Mardis Gras will be earlier in February. We will leave here about 4:00 on Thursday Jan 31 and return late afternoon on February 3. Our prayer is to have at least 2 vans full next year to share the Gospel. Mardis Gras is a spiritually dark place and we as Christians need to be there.
