There were forty-six men working with the David Cobb team, six of them with ties to the Heart of Kansas Southern Baptist Association. We handed out 35,000 tracts and saw 24 salvation decisions. During our time in New Orleans, we certainly saw the powers of darkness at work, but we also witnessed the even greater power of God.

In Jackson Park there were a dozen booths with fortune-tellers, witches, diviners, and palm readers. One of them even asked me if I "would like to dance with the Devil for ten minutes." When a group of college students did a skit and followed it with testimonies and preaching, the booths were shut down for 30 minutes-they had no customers.

At times we just stood in the midst of the multitude of people with a wooden cross and signs that said "JESUS IS GOD." We had people become angry, try to take our signs and the cross, curse at us, and thank us. Many times we were able to share a word of testimony or pass on a tract.

On the last night, a group of men paraded down Bourbon Street carrying the cross. Two revelers followed them back to the church and gave their hearts to the Lord Jesus Christ.

Please be in prayer for these new Christians and for the ones that will come to Christ through the tract ministry in the weeks to come.

Everyone is making plans to return next year! Will you consider being used in this way?
