Vision Tour a Success

On April 28-29, thirty-nine participants representing four associations and twenty-three churches made the journey to Wichita to consider partnering with us in planting churches. The results have been very encouraging. The majority of these have already made commitments to bring mission teams to our association, pray for us, or will make significant financial contributions to our work. In addition, several churches that were unable to attend during the tour are making plans to visit and consider a partnership with us. Please pray for the formation of these partnerships, for churches to be strengthened, and for many churches to be started.

For those of us that appreciate a cost/return evaluation, our $8,000 dollar investment in the vision tour has already resulted in projects being started that could result in approximately $30,000 in various resources and hundreds of volunteer hours being spent in our association. However, the real measure of this effort is ultimately to be found in the lives that will be changed.
