Vision Tour 2007
Church Planting: Mark Jackson
Tuesday, May 1, 2007
As I write it has just been a little over one week since we hosted the Vision Tour 2007 but the results have already been positive. I personally found this work very gratifying and appreciate all the efforts that our association and outside participating churches have made. More good news is coming but I did want to share a few of the highlights:
- Participation by seventeen churches in our association
- Participation by thirteen churches, one director of missions, and two church planter candidates from outside our association
- An increased awareness by all of the positive Kingdom work that is being accomplished
- A commitment to remodel the Cambodian church building (labor and materials)
- A computer system for one of our church plants
- A pledge to attempt to raise $8,000 for the Set Free house
- Three mission trips to our association this summer
- The possibility of an entire association from Mississippi partnering with us
- An additional six churches from outside our association that could not attend the tour but are considering partnering with us
There is more but you can already see that God is in this! Please be in prayer as we continue to follow up and build relationships with these churches.
