Opportunities to become Involved with Set Free
Church Planting: Mark Jackson
Thursday, March 1, 2007
Work has started on finishing the Set Free house at 617/619 N. Topeka.
We can use work teams to finish this project during the month of March. Please contact Mark Jackson, 943-3446, for scheduling your work team.
As soon as it is completed, Rev. Kevin Salley, along with his wife and three children, will be moving into one side of the duplex along with a church planting team of two or three people. All of these missionaries are from the Set Free organization in California.
We have several needs for this project:
- Several sponsoring churches
- Food on a regular basis for the workers and ministry
- Funding for utilities, repairs, and insurance
- A van
- Salary support for the pastor
- Families who would “adopt” their children and make them feel welcome
- Home furnishings for Set Free
- A portable sound system for outreach events
This would be a great opportunity for Sunday school classes from across our association to become involved in a mission project. Please contact Mark Jackson for additional information.
