New Church Starts
Church Planting: Mark Jackson
Monday, May 1, 2006
We presently have a strong interest in reaching people for our Lord through the establishment of New Testament churches. My purpose in writing this is to let you know what is going on and being planned with the prayer that God will lead you to become a part of this exciting work!
New Beginnings - Goddard
After establishing a solid Bible study in the Goddard area, John Barnett is making plans for a series of public interest meetings and some preview services. A preview service is designed to show the public what church will be like at New Beginnings and to provide them with information designed to recruit members prior to the official start of the church. To support this effort John needs volunteers in the following areas:
- Worship team leaders
- Workers for small children
- Workers to help set-up and help welcome visitors Contact: John Barnett, 794-2488
New Hispanic Church in Planeview
Midway Baptist and others are remodeling a duplex to be used as a Hispanic Community Center and to provide a basis for beginning a church in this area and preparing to do ministry. We hope to have the Grand Opening this summer and are planning a soccer camp outreach. Help is needed in various areas. Contact: Bill Wadsack, 393-2972
New Church - Kechi
We have a new church preparing to start in Kechi. They are presently holding weekly planning meetings and are looking for core team members. Contact: Lad Dwyer, 733-0227
New Church at Midtown Good Neighbor Center

Future Church Starts
We have preliminary plans for four other new churches: Northwest and Northeast Wichita, a church that will be contextualized to reach out to professionals and also one that will appeal to young adults. Contact: Mark Jackson, 214-3647.
If you would be interested in supporting these church starts, please give the contact person a call and may God bless you as you serve Him.
