The Kansas-Nebraska Convention of Southern Baptist has recently entered into an agreement with a web-based company called Percept to provide demographic information to local churches. Churches will have the ability to identify the demographic information on the community around the church facility in areas such as age, ethnic makeup, education, household income, and population trends. In addition to basic demographic information, this resource also provides insight on faith-based issues such as religious preference and faith receptivity. Not only will you be able to create a profile for your target community, but it will also help you make a connection between the needs of the community and the ministries that the church offers, or may need to offer.
